It is dark and dreary on the surface of Zebes. I can’t say that it feels good to be back.
This is where I grew up as a child.
This is no time for sentimentality, though.
I must find the hatchling… quickly!
I can’t let them threaten civilization once again. I will put a stop to this myself.
Those monsters… These space pirates always burrow deep under the surface of the planet itself…
…I’ll have to navigate through these caverns once again in order to find their new hideout.
“It’s too quiet.”
They should already know that I’m here. Maybe if I’m lucky I might be able to sneak in undetected.
It’s still way too quiet. I don’t like it at all.
Luckily, I remember my way to their hideout. I just have to go in a little deeper.
The elevator down to their lair is still operational but nothing else seems to have any power here.
It’s just a little further.
